indicators. It provides links to information produced by a number of
Federal agencies.

of Labor Statistics (BLS) . Either look for and retreive data
from the BLS data page
(two to four links to access the data), visit the BLS gopher
site for larger data sets, or read the overview
document at the BLS ftp site and then look in the time-series
folder for the corresponding data.

Faculty Salary data Data are from the American Association of
University Professors (AAUP) annual faculty salary survey of American
colleges and universities. Read the overview

This site lists approximately 40 sets of files leading to "several hundred
thousand" time series including everything from Industrial Production
indices to personal income measures by state. The data is formatted
to be read by a DOS-based time-series program that is publicly available
on the home page and comes in a zipped (compressed DOS) version.
