U.S. Deparment of Education The National Center for Educational Statistics gopher includes a number of reports describing education in the united states and around the world as well as data tables and either raw data or information for obtaining raw data. As of Mid January 1995, many of the pointers to tables and data were empty .

This is a good source for statistical information.


California Learning Assessment Study, and the National Educational Longitudinal Study (1988). The database section of this server includes data from various statistical resources and publications.


Statistics in Public Health Surveillance:
JSE Data Journal of Statistics Education Data Archive (original US site)The ASA Section on Statistical Graphics sponsored a special exposition entitled ``,'' as a poster session at the August 1991 Joint Statistical Meetings in Atlanta. Its purpose was to provide a forum for ASA members to present innovative graphical and analytic techniques for addressing questions of importance to public health control and prevention efforts. This collection contains the data from that exposition. Also data concerning home schooling in Minnesota, Maine, and New Hampshire.


High SAT score
This data set gives the SAT scores of the school systems that equalled or surpassed the national average score and participation rate in North Carolina in 1996. Data also available for 1995.
